QUI SONT-ILS

The Canadian Olympic Committee is the national organization responsible for Canada’s participation in the Olympic Games and the broader Olympic movement. It supports athletes, national sport organizations, and high-performance programs.

MISSION / OBJECTIF

To lead Canada’s participation in the Olympic Movement and support athletes in achieving excellence on the world stage. Its focus is on high-performance success, athlete support systems, and promoting Olympic values such as excellence, respect, and inclusion across Canadian sport.

LEUR COLLABORATION AVEC ICSN

The COC aligns with ICSN at a values and governance level. Its Safe Sport policies, gender equity commitments, and Indigenous inclusion strategies reflect the same high-level principles ICSN advocates for across sport systems. The difference is scale and performance focus, but the inclusion framework is broadly aligned.
