WHO THEY ARE
The Coaches Association of Ontario is a provincial organization dedicated to supporting coach education, development, and leadership across all sports in Ontario.
MISSION / FOCUS
To elevate the quality and impact of coaching across Ontario sport through education, certification, and professional development. Its focus is on ensuring coaches are equipped to create positive, safe, and effective sport environments for athletes at all levels.
THEIR WORK WITH ICSN
CAO is a key systems enabler for ICSN-aligned work because coaches directly shape sport environments. Their Safe Sport training and equity education contribute to safer and more inclusive spaces at the point of delivery. This is one of the more operational alignments, where impact is indirect but highly influential.
